In addition to publishing, we dealt secondhand books in Greenwich and Crystal Palace during the 1990s, and moved our business to Brighton in 1999. We traded from Snoopers Paradise at 7/8 Kensington Gardens for twenty-six years. Our original stall was located by the turnstile entrance of this vast indoor market in the North Laine, and we relocated to a larger and more prominent space just behind the cash desk at the main entrance in 2017. In A New Kind of Bleak, Owen Hatherley describes our shelves “full of ’60s New Left paperbacks, Raymond Williams, Wilhelm Reich and Stokeley Carmichael”. Bodiless Books are now continuing where we left off.
