In addition to publishing, we dealt secondhand books in Greenwich and Crystal Palace during the 1990s, and moved our business to Brighton in 1999. We have been trading from Snoopers Paradise at 7/8 Kensington Gardens for over twenty years. Our original stall was located by the turnstile entrance of this vast indoor market in the North Laine, and we relocated to a larger and more prominent space just behind the cash desk at the main entrance in 2017. We currently stock about 2000 books there, along with a selection of collectable tarot decks and the occasional spoken word CD.

Although we have shop premises, our online stock is stored separately in our warehouse & handled with all reasonable precautions. We are quarantining all new acquisitions for a minimum of three days before cataloguing and shelving them. Local customers are welcome to collect pre-ordered books from our locked display cabinet in Snoopers Paradise.

We regret that we can no longer supply books worth less than EU 150 directly to customers in the European Union. Our catalogue is available through third party sites: please place your order through either abebooks or biblio to ensure that the transaction is covered by the IOSS scheme. If possible, we will prepay local VAT on orders over EU 150, but this option is not yet available for all destinations.
